The problem is the user who necroed this thread is showing it being a server issue. He has delay with the input overlay on. The op of this thread is showing no delay with the input overlay on.
If it was a server issue everyone would be showing it on the online inout overlay.
So the op is actually proving it to not be on EAs end. This is why later on after he found that out he was shocked to have no delay.
I was glad this thread was brought back up as I couldn’t find it after the new switch of forums.
It’s good that the op is admitting it’s not on eas end. A lot of people won’t do that.
Just to add to this , what do you mean the op is showing no delay with the input overlay on. If it's a server issue think of it as everything he sees on his screen is delayed. So how would it show delay?
Unless you mean he has got button delay on his overlay then yes that's a connection problem " Button delay". Rarely ever the case unless you have a terrible ping, packet loss or jitter.
If all these are fine and you're dealing with terrible gameplay you will have server delay.
And if he's getting it on squad battles too it's 100% server delay.
Also if EA could explain why they reversed the patch that was supposed to fix the slowdowns, during that week or week an half I posted on here about having great gameplay but noticed alot of new posts about delay. It was soon reversed and now we still have slowdowns " Running on the spot".
Again this is another reason the game shouldn't be out to the public and definitely shouldn't be allowed to sell packs .
And for the OP you mentioned you had scores ranging from 70-98 if you play Rush that mode definitely lowers the connection score.
