It's possible that particular item is bugged. As a test, would you be able to try his silver version just to see if it works? This will help narrow down the issue.

yes, the silver base version works in rivals/champs.

ive sunk alot of time into my argentine evo squad , please let me know if youve found a fix

I don't have an update yet. I'm still looking into this for you. The best I can advise for now is to use a different item in place of the one that's bugged.

having the same problem but it is not limited to one evo player , it is every evo player i have. You can put them into the squad but it will kick you out if you go to play a game. I have tried to change them on Web App as well as on console
