Rivals match making while playing a DUO

I think previously the matchmaking for "solo only" wasn't working properly, if that's now fixed it wont match you against solo players who have enabled that option, I have it enabled and have not come up against any duo's today so maybe its fixed, 2 vs 2 should be more fair / better game than 2 vs 1 anyways i would imagine

First of all I would like to say that as playing solo I came up against Duos few times these days... in addition, can you tell me where the solo only setting is? all i can see is crossplatform and the nearby thing...

did EA published they are "fixing" the matchmaking regarding this topic? 

I cant get a screenshot at the moment but on the rivals screen before you go into the game u can press R3 , its viewable at the bottom of the screen it says "matchmaking options" , it used to work so when you have "solo matchmaking" it wont pair you VS 2 people, but its been broken for a while but I think its fixed again.

Yes my matchmaking as a duo sucks. We only face duos now in rivals, they must have changed the matchmaking without telling anyone. And now the matchmaking takes forever, game is dead for duos…

Most people have matchmaking against duos disabled now, and personally I don't blame them. It's a lot harder to watch runs, mark players, and deal with two manually controlled players in general. I normally enjoy them but it's not exactly what most people would call fun, it's more of a challenge myself thing when I do decide to play them. I don't always want to put that effort in so disable matches against duos quite often, and I would assume a lot of people feel the same way. 

Note the comment someone posted here about the R3 matchmaking settings, apparently it changed. Check the setting while you are looking at your squad and your coop is in your lobby :)
