Rivals points

I am on 28/35 points for the premium rivals rewards. 
Of course EA decide to do "Planned" maintenance and disable matchmaking an hour and a half before the end. 

Firstly it is not "Planned" if you tweet this at 04:45AM UK time and Disable match making at 06:30AM. 
If it was planned people would be given decent warning, not less than 2 hours, so labelling it as such is insulting to those affected.

Additionally I contacted EA Help straight away in order to try address this before rewards are granted, surely they can manually add the 2 points I need? apparently not, what is the point of these assistants if they cant actually help? 

I have been told by EA Help to post here, I would like to be compensated for the missing rewards and would like to feedback that performing maintenance for the final hour of a competitive game mode is just so dumb, I imagine a very large amount of players have been affected by this. 

Please respond to me as soon as possible.
