Rush objectives are inheritely a bad idea

First if all. People would play Rush without all these side objectives.

The exp gain ones are enough.

You set an objective to score, no one passes.

Assist noone shoots.

Defend, people will get as many blue cards as they possibly can.

At this point, these goblins that join only for their objectives are actively trying to be so bad that their teammates leave and they can use the cpu ai to make everything about themselves.

There's already goals set in Evolutions.. when you actually fix them..

I know you are attracting numbers to Rush so that on paper it looks like you're great and can pat yourselves on the shoulder.

But it's a fun game mode and all you do is ruin the quality for quantity. All this does is make me not want to play it.

But I want to want to play it. It's my favourite game-mode.

  • @Rehnzz yeah, we've definitely been blowing them up about the lack of engagement in Rush -- the surplus of AFK's and trolls ruining the mode for others. We've suggested that they make objectives easier to achieve because unfortunately it is a game mode reliant on others! We hope to see improvement within Rush objectives in the near future!

    @Izzy_FUT_DubsI have a suggestion.
I don't know if it would be able to reach EA but..
If they are serious about Rush and want to make it a mainstay of the game, they should consider implementing am honoring system similar to league.
When you do get into a game with people who actually play for the team and you get in the lobby afterwards. Being able to just give them a thumbs up would be great.
Perhaps have some sort of rewards behind x amount of honors.
No one is going to honor a rubberbander or a selfish person.

I would however consider honoring a player who is just bad but I can see them trying to help the team

  • @Rehnzz That would actually be a good thing to implement. Idk how capable EA are to implement this, but I'll definitely run it by some of the employees to at least put it on their radar!
  • EA, I need to express a growing frustration with Rush Mode in FIFA 25. The frequency of AFK players is absurd, and the problem is clear: most of these players are using Rush Mode solely to level up, with no intention of actually playing. This is turning the mode into a frustrating experience for those of us who genuinely want to compete and enjoy the game.

Today, I joined a match with 3 AFK leveling players. It was "so much fun" playing a 1v4 and getting goals scored on us repeatedly. There’s no way this hasn’t been noticed yet, as it happens in nearly every match! It's urgent to remove leveling players from Rush Mode or take some action to curb this practice. Without these changes, the gameplay experience will only continue to deteriorate.

I hope something is done to preserve the quality and enjoyment that Rush Mode should offer. If nothing is done, the game is finished.
