Not really looking for answers but assuming someone at EA has a file drawer with complaints that they proceed to set on fire at the end of the week please add this to the list. 1. Reducing squad battles games is the dumbest decision I've ever seen. This from the same company that waited a decade to release a new college football game shouldn't be surprising but is. I've been buying Fifa in release for a decade plus now, this change is the first time I'm seriously considering not buying next years. 2. Trying to make a complaint or get an answer from this company is the most atrocious system of links and "helpful" articles I've ever seen. I'd be embarrassed if a mom and pop shop had this level of anti costumer service, EA is just a small indie company though. The sad thing is FC 25 is actually great, I've loved every game I've played. Just sad now that only amounts to 12 per week.

The reason to play the full 40 games was for the rewards. I could play at my level and still get decent rewards. Now going past has no point besides the paltry 500 coins for playing a game. I agree with you a hundred percent!!! I've always enjoyed playing just squad battles in any of the fifa games and til now. 12 games???!!! Its also nice playing squad battles for more games to work/earn those objectives. But now...... I don't care to play other game modes, especially when its with other online players. I don't understand the move. If you want to shorten the games, do so, but all the way down to 12?! And it's always been the case that you can go beyond the initial games, but what's the point when you don't earn points, just coins. Your playing to earn rewards for packs and a chunk of coins at once. I'm actually going to be playing the game less now.Please EA 🙏, up the games. Make them double, up to 24. 12 is way too short.

After the 12 matches there is nothing to chase anymore. It kind of takes the fun out continuing

ive always played squad battles over the years......it seems they are trying to please the tik tok generation....(that dont want to have to sit playing large number of games)what im now finding that each and every year i can achieve elite 1.......never ever managed to get to top200.over 40 or 32 games you have the ability to play poor and loose points but gain them in other games.only playing 12...or 14 is making it that i cant make a mistake or have a bad game and we all know the ai in squad battles are crazy at times and play like a team of icons even though its a 76 rated team banging top bins shots from 30 yards in a 180` spin.i gained elite 1 last week by the skin of my teeth.....this week im near 2000 points down so i presume i might make elite 2with a lot more ppl now gunna play squad battles due to decent rewards and low amount of games the total needed for elite 1 will always be high....leaving my self wide open to `skill issue`

@NickDaQuick12198 You can still play past the 12 games you just don’t get points. Not really sure what the downside is you get better rewards for less games.

I don’t see how that’s logical? Unless you liked being able to play 40 games at say beginner and got above people who could only play say 12 games but played on ultimate? If that’s what you are saying that’s why it needs to be 12.

It’s supposed to be everyone plays an equal amount and whoever gains the most skill points wins not who can play more.

Surely I am misunderstanding you though. Because I don’t get it.

@sniperfox29 I don’t know what your talking about. My post is my opinion not someone else’s. I don’t work for ea.

I never said if you are not good you are not meant for this game. But if you are playing on beginner you shouldn’t get rewarded more than someone else better.

If you don’t like the structure that’s one thing but to say becasue you can play 800 games a week you should be rewarded more than a pro who can put in less games but more skill points per games doesn’t make sense.

Your argument is actually why ea needs to lower the amount. It’s no different than having 40 wl games. You shouldn’t get better rewards than a pro who can’t dedicate time over skill. At least a reasonable amount of time I mean nobody is asking for 10 minutes.

On the plus side they doubles the games needed for rivals. Personally I think it’s going to be a hassle to play more. You guys might enjoy it more now so could always play it after your squad battles games.

I prefer to have less games actually, I often would end up playing a marathon on saturday night to catch up. I will never make 45 point in Rivals though, I have huge difficulties this year, I'm losing 4 games out of 5, last year I was stable between Div 1 and Elite. The game is becoming more and more physical and I play very very light (no tackles basically) and with no pressing. I don't think I'll be able to get good results this year with my style.

That's silly. No one with a full life has time to play that many games in a week. 12 and the extra 2 is 2 a day and plenty.
Way to go EA. Award winners not people with more time.
