After the 12 matches there is nothing to chase anymore. It kind of takes the fun out continuing
- @Renela74 I get what you're saying. I spend most of my time playing Squad Battles. But, after the 12 games, I can do evolutions on an easier difficulty without having to worry about how many points I'm potentially missing out on. It's a more casual experience for me after the 12.
I prefer the smaller number of games. I probably wouldn’t bother if it was still 40 but 14 games for some decent rewards seems fair especially when compared to rivals. I do understand that for some who don’t want to play online or aren’t at the level where they can now get enough points for the elite ranks it’s not ideal. Perhaps Ea could offer 2 types of squad battles competitions and you choose at the start of the week which one you do. The first option is as they have it now, or the 2nd is 40 games like before. Both competitions have the same packs depending on rank. The 1st would be more competitive, while the 2nd is more laid back but takes you longer.
- @Izzy_FUT_Dubs It was more enjoyable to have a little bit of risk involved. But the playing past 12 games is just boring for a majority of the community. This post has been up for a month and there have been people asking for the matches to be increased. I'm sorry if you don't agree but there are lots of posts with people asking for the games to be increased.
With the new swap promo, you can tell that the new squad battles rankings do not really work for getting the rewards. Only 10% of players can get above Elite 3, it drops down to 20% for gold 1 or above. previously if you just played all the games you could get Elite 1 or 2 fairly easily, now that is much more competitive, it is more like Gold 1. In prior Swaps promos anyone could grind and get almost all of the swap cards. How it is set-up this time, it seems like unless you are in the top 10% of players overall, SB, rivals, and Champions, you will be lucky to get more than 8 to 12 swap cards, while the top 10% will get 28 or more. I would suggest just increasing the ranges of each level in squad battles, top 20% should be in elite 3 or higher.
