Unable to add friend on child's XBOX (FC25)

Hello Everyone,

my son on XBOX Series X with Game Pass Ultimate with EA Child account is trying to play FC25 with his Playstation5 user friend. But when tried to add that guy as a friend, he got back a message: "Could not send friend request. Try again." We tried many times, inconclusive.

He plays others games with his friends (with this guy also) with no issues, on XBOX and in Microsoft Family the friend requests are allowed so at Microsoft these feature - theoretically - allowed well.
