Solution:
- As said below you need to delete your squad on the FUT COMPANION APP.
- If you can not access the app, create a new user on your PC/PS/XBOX and log into FC25 with that user. That should fix the app issue.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? i open the game and press Ultimate Team. As soon as i open ultimate team the game starts to lag and force closes itself. It started shortly after i applied custom tactics on my squad.

every single time i open ultimate team my game force closes itself. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling EAFC 25, i tried deleting my steam download cache, ive tried restarting my PC and steam client. nothing works
if you go to the companion or web app and make a new squad which you set as active, then delete the old squad with the tactics on it should let you load the game up now. just tried it and it worked for me
