I've played on XBox One, PS5 and PC different editions, same EA account, wired connection. They all had delay for me. It's not the connection, it's something else, can't put my finger on it. It happens to a degree in Squad Battles too. But I stopped trying to get to the bottom of it. I now only play in the first month via the EA subscription and then after it gets a huge discount. I feel like EA are gaslighting us with their "check your connection" BS.
I think they either have a poorly implemented Engagement Based Matchmaking, or a tricky bug in the handling of player input, or both.

On PS5 I was switching between the old-gen and next-gen versions, as sometimes the old-gen version was much smoother and new-gen felt like it had a lot of delay.

Im sure a lot of the delay issues are caused by matchmaking. Through my netduma r3 router i can see the server i get connected to. I live in London, but 8/10 the game tries to connect me to either the Paris or Frankfurt server. I get the best gameplay (and lowest ping) on London, Dublin is playable, Amsterdam is just about playable while Paris and Frankfurt give a big advantage to my opposition. Surely if matchmaking was optimised i would be on London 8/10 times. I can also assume that people from Germany and France are also being connected to other servers rather than their own. If they started putting people onto their nearest server, im sure gameplay would improve for many.

Just uninstall the game, the best method to fix EA mess. Worst game company ever! Release a half working game an expect people to not moan an carry on like nothing happens. Not one positive thing has come from EA recently!
