@Andyh60 It’s to make them want to not quit. If they quit they lose out on the point too. They also removed friendlies from matchmaking with rivals. They also made quitting no longer drop form so you can’t get easier games. They also brought back relegation to help stop it too.
@RadioShaqs read his post again. He's saying (and rightfully so) you don't get the point if they quit. Its a waste of your time. They are doing it so you don't get anything also. Can you please put your EA love to one side and think rationally. Your replies don't help. It just triggers people more. Unless that is what you intend to do.

Number 1- you don't know me. I'm not anti EA. I own multiple EA games. So don't assume I am only posting to sh*t on EA. He is posting a simple issue he has with the game that has not been addressed. You always come in every post and try and stick up for EA. By either telling people their internet is the issue why they struggle with delay and unresponsiveness. Even tho majority of people have this issue. Or like you have done on this post.. by listing irrelevant steps EA have done that fixes nothing. There is still an issue with getting anything from people that are toxic and quit on a draw. I'm not going to get in a slagging match with you. I've witnessed about 4 years of your crap

Now, while we agree that this has been an ongoing issue, the sad reality is EA doesn't want to do anything about it. We've raised this issue many many times before and they don't want to do anything about it. There's not much else any of us can do about it but continue to complain about it until they decide to listen to us! ;(@Izzy_FUT_Dubs i'm not arguing with him. I'm just pointing out he totally ignored the OP's issue and rather list a bunch of things EA have done to make the game better. If he came in and showed the same mentality as yourself- there wouldn't have been a problem. He does it every post. Either to trigger people or just blatantly ignorant. Thanks for the input 👍🏻
@AnonymousJust stop the discussion got going again. All you are worried about is if a post is anti ea enough. Ea having to do all that shows quitting is a problem. You still won’t put down the anti ea pom poms. I’ve said a million times rovers division droppers all that is terrible. Afk in rush is terrible a lot of fixes suggested like more wins in objectives will promote quitting.
You just jump to conclusions and you are wrong just accept it and move on.Also let’s not forget gg quitting has ruined silvers my favorite mode. How silly was it to quit to get rewards faster and that was the only mode you could use them in. The community just loved gg quitting and that’s when all this nonsense started with quitting to punish others.

EA do not give one shining piece of monkey crap about players and will NEVER fix this issue because they want players to play more games and buy more packs.
That is why they do not do the simple solution of if you DNF you lose and the opponent gets the win.
They want people to play as many games as they can possibly get out of them, so they will then buy more packs and spend more money.
That is why people, they want to fleece you for everything you have, and no other reason
