Why can't EA share if a report has ended up in a ban

I was promised to get an update in a report I filed against a cheater. When I placed the report the ea help person told me this:

EA help operator: if you want to get update then you can contact here with this Case Details: 207261331 and we can also check update and share with you

Yet I when I reached back to ea help I litterly got 0 information, no update on the case the case was just closed with no comments

For me its absolutly insane that u can't share information about if a report ended up in a ban. This creates 0 trust for the company. To me it seems like the only purpuse for the internal security policy is to hide the severity level of the issue of cheaters on the game. I'm not asking for any GDPR information, just a single line of text, were any actions taken towards my report. A policy like this makes me wanna stop caring about the game I've played for over 20 years...

Please EA, you can do better...

  • Recently I face a hacker in every 10th game so please sort ur anti cheat engine cuz atm it seems like at least 10% of the player base is cheating...

  • If you read the help page on reporting someone it says for privacy reasons.

And what blocks those "privacy reasons"? Is it a GDPR thing, then just leave a notification like other games does, "a report that you made in the past has resulted in ban"

My point stands, EA should be able to bring clearity to this matter, atm it just seems like they are trying to hide the fact that they have big problem with cheaters
