why cant i redeem champions on FC25

I've qualified for this week's champions but I didn't redeem it on Friday, why won't it let me redeem it on saturday, it's always been weekend league and last time I checked Saturdays weekend, this really annoyed me because I was looking forward to trying it out through this promo and only have weekends to do so
