Why I am Finally Breaking Up with EAFC /FIFA

I have played this franchise for years. So many good memories of hanging with friends on the couches playing the beautiful game we love.

I am not a skill move player, preferring the more casual gameplay of Squad Battles. To be fair, much in the community can be very toxic.

The gameplay this year is bad. Post after post, and video after video showing how players stop sprinting mid-run and begin walking while defenders move beyond their stats to catch up, headers soaring way over intended targets, and the most aggreges of all, the SB glitch that drops connection after a goal is scored resulting in zero points for game. (If you don't know about this, there are many, many posts here on this forum.)

Again post after post, with video support and all that is given in response is, "Check your connection. Maybe it is on your end." I have never had issues this bad this late in a release year. None of us have. We are being gaslit. We have "jumped the shark," and this is no longer a company that is willing to put in the work for its customers. So, I must say goodbye.

To all the friends and memories. Cheers.

To EA, I should have known. You destroyed the Tiger Woods Golf Franchise. Good luck with your investors, I assume that is all you care about.

To those looking for a new game, Brotato, is a great casual coop game.

My personal favourite was EA's war on coin sellers because they claimed "it is unfair on genuine players that others can get what they want without effort"

That would be very noble, until you remember you can get all the best players in the game without effort at all, you just have to give EA the money and with enough of it, you will eventually get what you want.

What EA meant was "we don't want anyone else making a profit"
