Why only 12 games for Squad Battles?

A bit late but I just checked the number of games in fc sport 26: 14 games... I took indefinite break in 2023 from the game. I like others played 100% squad battles. Like, the only reason I would come back not to play against sweating pack addicts but squad battles vs chill AI.
Why would I pay 80 bucks to only have 2 games per day in FUT to play? If EA does not need those people who quietly play against cancer that this community or rather specific elements can be, then it did the right decision limiting SB. I now have exactly 0 reasons to come back. Not I alone, I highly doubt anyone else will pay full price to have so few games to play.
