Career mode - free transfers (6 months)
Hello EA Sports Team,
I would like to leave a suggestion to improve the realism and management depth of Career Mode in FC26.
Currently, tracking players with only 6 months left on their contracts (to sign them on a free transfer) can be tedious and unintuitive. My suggestion is to implement a more accessible way to monitor these opportunities:
- Dedicated News/Alerts: In early January, the game could provide a 'Transfer Deadline' style news report highlighting the top-rated players entering the final 6 months of their contracts.
- Search Filters: Within the Transfer Search menu, there should be a specific filter for 'Contract Status: Expiring in 6 Months'. This would function similarly to how we currently search for 'Free Agents' or 'Listed' players.
- Scouting Instructions: Allow us to set a specific instruction for scouts to find 'Contract Expiry' opportunities in specific leagues.
This feature would greatly help with squad management and financial strategy, especially for smaller clubs. It adds a layer of tactical planning that is very common in real-world football.
