Career Mode Press Conference Questions Need Context Aware Dynamic System

Dear EA Sports FC Team,

I'm a dedicated Career Mode player and I want to share feedback that I believe would significantly improve immersion for millions of players worldwide.

Currently, pre and post-match press conference questions feel repetitive and disconnected from the actual story of your season. In almost every press conference, journalists ask about 2-3 players in generic terms or request basic performance predictions. This breaks immersion because the questions don't reflect what's actually happening in your career.

Here's what I believe should change:

The press conference system should be dynamically tied to your real season context. For example:

  • When you're in a relegation battle, journalists should ask hard-hitting questions about your team's poor form, whether your job is at risk, and whether the board still believes in your project.
  • When you're mid-table with no progression, questions should reflect stagnation — "Is this club going anywhere under your management?"
  • When you're in a title race, the tone should shift to excitement and pressure — rivals dropping points, historic opportunities, fan expectations.
  • After a European elimination, journalists should press you on the disappointment and what went wrong.
  • When your star player is on a hot streak, questions should focus on him specifically in that context, not a generic "how do you rate him?"

Right now, the system doesn't distinguish between being 1st or 17th in the league. The same three question templates appear regardless of your situation. This is a massive missed opportunity.

The fix doesn't require rebuilding the system — it simply requires mapping existing question types to season variables (league position, recent form, cup results, injury crisis, transfer activity) and triggering the appropriate ones contextually.

This single change would make Career Mode feel alive in a way it currently doesn't. It would be one of the most impactful quality-of-life improvements you could ship.

Thank you for reading. I hope this reaches the right team.
