Corner kicks, and attacking/defending in general
I can't tell exactly why is it so hard to defend corner kicks. I feel like every game I play I get scored in a corner kick, and I noticed many people are complaining about it too.
I think it has something to do with how defending and attacking works in this game.
If you want to defend well you have to track back with your midfielders, cover passes, second man press, and never jump recklessley for tackles. Basically stay back and be passive until you find the right time to tackle (which might be never).
If you want to attack well, you just have to use the R1 dribbling effectively, i.e spin to win. You can finish with a low driven too.
In a corner kick, you get exactly that opportunity to get into the box fast and do you dribbles before the defending team can control the structure of the players. They are too vulnerable, and you get a high chance for a quick goal.
My point is, maybe the solution is not to fix specifically corner kicks because they are just the outcome of how defending and attacking works in this game. Maybe we should fix those.
