Dear EA SPORTS FC Development Team,
Dear EA SPORTS FC Development Team,
I would like to suggest a major improvement for Manager Career Mode.
A feature called “Club Transfer Vision” would make Career Mode much more realistic and immersive.
When starting a career with a real club, the manager should receive the club’s transfer priorities based on the real manager’s philosophy.
For example, if I start a career with Arsenal, I would like to see something like:
“Mikel Arteta – Transfer Plan”
- Priority position: Striker
• Priority position: Left winger
• Priority position: Creative midfielder
Scouting targets:
• Player A ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
• Player B ⭐⭐⭐⭐
• Young talent C ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Then, as the manager, I would have to decide whether to:
• sign the requested players,
• find alternative players with similar profiles,
• or change the club’s transfer strategy.
This would make transfers feel like real football. Clubs should have identities, scouting departments, sporting directors and specific player profiles they are looking for.
Other features that would improve Career Mode:
• meetings with the board and sporting director,
• realistic transfer negotiations,
• AI managers following club philosophies,
• players rejecting transfers if the club does not fit their ambitions,
• more realistic transfer market behaviour.
Career Mode should not only be about having money and buying any player. It should feel like managing a real football club.
Thank you for listening to the community. I hope this idea can be considered for future EA SPORTS FC games.
