EA FC 26 Transfer Ban - System Clearly Not Working
I don’t normally post on forums, but I really need to get this off my chest.
I’m a returning EA FC 26 player. I only came back about a month ago and in that short time the game has genuinely become my main game to play. I’ve been enjoying it so much, rebuilding my club, getting back into the rhythm and remembering why I loved FIFA/EA FC in the first place. That’s why this situation has honestly hit me harder than I expected.
Out of nowhere, my account was banned for an alleged “balance transfer,” something I haven’t done. I haven’t bought coins, sold coins, transferred coins, or broken the rules in any way. I’m a casual player who only uses the transfer market in the evenings after work. I don't have multiply accounts. To be accused of something I didn’t do feels incredibly unfair and honestly quite upsetting.
On top of that, the appeals process has been incredibly discouraging. No real information is shared, no evidence is provided, and the replies feel completely generic almost like nobody actually looked at my case. It’s impossible to defend yourself when you’re not told what you supposedly did wrong. A system that gives players no clarity and no meaningful chance to appeal isn’t fair and it leaves innocent players feeling ignored and powerless.
I understand EA is trying to crack down on coin sellers and protect the game, but in that effort innocent players like me are being caught in the crossfire. It’s really discouraging to come back to a game I’ve genuinely fallen back in love with, only to lose access to the main part of the experience because of a system that clearly isn’t working as intended.
It’s difficult to explain how upsetting it is to put time, money, and genuine excitement into a game I’ve just returned to a game that quickly became my main way to relax and unwind only to suddenly lose access to the transfer market. Without it, Ultimate Team just isn’t worth playing, and it’s heartbreaking to feel pushed out of a mode I was enjoying so much.
EA really needs to review how these bans are being processed, because it’s clearly not working. In the effort to catch coin sellers, innocent players who haven’t broken the Terms of Service are being punished. If this continues, it’s only going to alienate loyal players who genuinely enjoy the game.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I really hope this is seen by someone who can review the process and help fix what’s going wrong.
