EA needs player surveys

I seriously don't understand how a company that is as big as EA and has been around for so long seems to miss the mark every single time. Whether it's content, patches or the state of gamemodes on release, they never fail to disappoint.

I know that in many ways, this is due to the fact that EA is a company, and companies care about profit over everything else. But it's crazy to me that the player base's experience has been pushed so far to the wayside. Surely it's simple logic that player retention equals increased revenue, right?

All too often, EA say in their patch notes that they have 'listened to the community'. But somehow they always seem to have done to opposite. I feel like, if EA is really driven by profit, they should be surveying players. See what players like, and what they don't. And when I mean players, I mean all players. Meaning, don't just listen to the vocal minority moaning about things that essentially just boil down to them being horrible at the game. And, don't just listen to creators and pros. These two groups don't represent the majority of the player base, and when patches/changes are based on their feedback, it shows. And in all honesty, it's ruined FC26 already.

Something as simple as a monthly survey asking players about what gamemodes they engage with most and why, whether or not certain features or changes are good or bad, and how much someone would play if something like kick-offs were fixed, for example, would help keep the game in an enjoyable state. To get players to complete it, incentivise it with something like a 50k pack. There is such an overwhelming and obvious need for every player to have an equal voice at the table when it comes to the changes being made. If EA only want to listen to those complaining, they're going to continue to destroy this game.
