I'm experiencing the exact same full-system freeze/reboot pattern described here, on completely different hardware:

System Configuration:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
  • Latest NVIDIA driver tested (610.74), also tested previous version (595.97) — same result on both
  • Windows 11

Symptom: After a few minutes of gameplay, the entire system freezes completely (no keyboard input, can't open Task Manager, no response at all), then reboots on its own. Windows Event Viewer shows Kernel-Power Event ID 41 with BugcheckCode 0 — no BSOD, no crash dump, no application-level error logged. This matches the "invisible to profiler" nature of the deadlock described in the original post exactly.

Troubleshooting already completed (all ruled out):

  • Full PSU stress test via OCCT (20+ min sustained load, no errors)
  • Windows Memory Diagnostic (no RAM errors)
  • Full EA Desktop / EA AntiCheat reinstall (clean, all residual folders removed)
  • Visual C++ Redistributables reinstalled
  • GPU Power Limit reduced to 85% via MSI Afterburner — crash still occurs
  • NVIDIA "Low Latency Mode" and "Power Management Mode" adjusted — no change
  • Confirmed this only happens with FC26, never with other demanding titles on the same hardware

This strongly supports the Javelin/nvlddmkm.sys interaction theory in the original post rather than a hardware issue on my end. Hoping this adds another data point toward a fix — thank you for the detailed technical investigation.

Hi there, the issue you’re describing seems to be different from what the OP posted.

It may be faulty hardware triggering a preventative shutdown or freeze due to thermal throttling or a similar system-level issue. I’d recommend checking your hardware, temperatures, and system stability first. Thanks.

    my system is fully stable and the temperatures are all normal its not our fault that the anticheat does not work and am sure that u guys wont give us a fix to force us to buy the new game but its ok thank u for nothing

    Respectfully, this response doesn't engage with the diagnostic evidence I already posted. I didn't come here with a vague "my PC crashes" report — I documented a full hardware elimination process:

    • OCCT stress test: 20 min sustained at 95-97°C CPU / 99% GPU — zero errors, zero crashes
    • Windows Memory Diagnostic — clean
    • Event Viewer: Kernel-Power ID 41, BugcheckCode 0, WHEABootErrorCount 0 — meaning Windows had zero time to log any thermal or hardware fault. A real thermal shutdown or PSU fault would leave WHEA errors. This didn't.
    • The crash happens exclusively with FC26. Never with other, more demanding titles, on the same identical hardware. If this were a thermal/hardware limitation, it would show up under sustained synthetic load and in other games too. It doesn't.
    • Reduced GPU power limit to 85%, tested two NVIDIA driver versions, clean AntiCheat reinstall — identical crash every time, regardless of hardware-side mitigation.

    "Check your temps" isn't a diagnosis, it's a deflection that ignores data I've already provided. The freeze signature (full input lockup, silent forced reboot, zero application/system error logged) matches the Javelin/nvlddmkm.sys DPC deadlock described in the referenced thread — not thermal throttling, which is a graceful, loggable event, not a silent hard freeze.
