Getting beat so badly it isn't fun...

I am getting beat pretty handedly because I can't defend like everyone says I am suppose to be able to.  I guess it is very easy for some but I think for most of us the defense it literally hit and miss nothing consistent.  Lateral movement is so jerky.  Speed boosts are so random and ridiculous.  Automations are so often and so slow and ugly.  Its embarrassing and humiliating to lose like this and rather inexplainable why you would make a game like this for people to not just lose but then kick the ball in the net again afterwards is just toxic.
