Goalkeeper kickoff pass is delayed

After the opponent shoots the ball out of the field in my penalty area, and when the referee whistles for my goalkeeper to kickoff the ball, there are a few seconds of delay. I press the pass button immediately after hearing the whistle but the goalkeeper doesn't pass. Only after pressing pass a few seconds later does it respond. 

For me this is an issue because the opponents move their strikers towards my defenders in order to intercept or tackle the ball. With the pass delay they're already next to or in front of my defender so they have a very big chance of intercepting the pass. And I've already conceded a few goals this way thanks to this input delay. Please fix this.
