João Moutinho deserves an End of an Era card.

As passionate members of the EA Sports FC community, I would like to make a strong and respectful request for a special card honouring João Moutinho, who has now reached the closing chapter of an extraordinary career. João Moutinho is one of the most complete and consistent midfielders of his generation – a UEFA Euro 2016 Champion, League Champion in three different countries (Portugal, France, England), and one of Portugal’s most-capped players ever. His career has spanned over two decades of excellence, leadership, and professionalism. Despite his remarkable legacy, he has never received a single special card in recent FIFA/EA FC editions. 

For a player of such influence, this feels like an unfortunate omission. 

We therefore ask EA Sports FC to consider: 

An “End of an Era” João Moutinho card – celebrating his retirement and legacy;

Alternatively, a “Flashback” or “Legacy Moments” card highlighting his prime years at Sporting CP, FC Porto, AS Monaco or Wolverhampton;

Include him in a Portuguese-themed Heroes/Icon mini-campaign, honouring national legends who shaped modern Portuguese football.

Moutinho embodies everything that makes football beautiful, intelligence, vision, work-rate, and sportsmanship. A tribute card would not only celebrate him but also resonate deeply with the Portuguese football community and thousands of Ultimate Team players who have followed his career since the very first FIFA editions. We believe he has earned it. Thank you for considering this well-deserved honour.
