Opponent forfeits the match, but the game acts as if I disconnected

I'm playing this match where I go up 4-2 or 5-2 I don't remember and at about 60-65 minutes my opponent forfeits the match and I get the message that my opponent forfeits and I press A to continue. The game then takes me to the main menu and when I go back to ultimate team I get a disconnection warning and have lost my winning streak and my win didn't count...
