I don't know if this bothers anyone else but for me, it completely ruins the immersion in career mode. I'm talking about pitch wear. For the past four years, career mode players have been unable to adjust pitch wear. After only 8 games into the season, pitch wear starts to become noticeable and gradually gets worse as the season progresses. Those who pay attention to real life games will observe that pitch wear is a thing of the past. Most teams are able to keep a spotless and fresh pitch from the start till the end of the season. Some players might like the pitch wear but EA should at least give us the option to choose if we want it or not. I decided that I will not get EAFC 26 this year if the option to turn off pitch wear isn't in career mode because career mode is the only game mode I play. It seems like a minor thing to add into the game so I can't understand why the devs can't observe it if realism is what they calm to produce smh.

It is pathetic that players who spend money to purchase this game have to literally beg for such a silly feature to be removed. It is even fine if they do not want to completely remove it, but at least give us the option to decide if we want it or not, on/off option in career mode.It is also pathetic that we also have to post screenshots confirming an issue that has lasted for at least half a decade now and the reason why many people do not purchase the game. I believe the devs that work on this game watch football, i really want to believe that. They really need to point out which pitches in top European Leagues look like that mid-season, not one. Even Sunday League pitches look better.

EA_Darko Genuine question, are you and the other moderators on this forum bots or real people? If you are real people, are you stupid? People have been complaining about this in Career Mode for FIVE YEARS. Every year when the game releases, people notice how bad the pitches look in Career Mode after a few months of the season and every year EA refuse to address it. How difficult is it to introduce a toggle in the Settings when starting a Career Mode save to disable pitch wear?

Please give this feedback about pitch wear in Career mode to the devs and let them know that it ruins the mode for many players. It can't be that difficult to just add an on/off setting for pitch wear in Career mode settings. If you go to play an exhibition match it has on/off settings for pitch wear, so why not in Career mode..? If you watch real football matches in Premier League and other big leagues, the pitch is in great condition even in winter games.
So it's totally unrealistic to play in the game with this damaged looking pitches and not being able to turn it off. It's still the first two weeks of the game.. please give this feedback so the devs will add the on/off option for pitch wear in Career mode in a soonly upcoming patch. Thank you.

EA_PulsarEA_Darko Hey, it has been now a few weeks since the issue was reported to the responsible team. Do you have any news for us at this stage?
If in the next update we see a bunch of changes in UT and other modes but no changes in Career Mode (including the pitch wear) can you give us a proper explanation for that? Or could you then proceed to issue us a full refund for the game?
We are tired of begging.

Make it impossible to play. I lost my last two games because of this.
Ruined my promotion.
