In the Coppa Italia, although starting from the 2024-25 season extra time will only be used in the event of a draw in the semifinals or final, in FC 26 it will also be used in the other rounds, when the match should instead go straight to penalties. I think this is a necessary change, especially since this is one of the licensed competitions.
