It's not just about one specific aspect of Ultimate Team, but about several things.
Often, there are problems in matches where player behavior changes drastically to the detriment of a team.
Even players with fast reactions sometimes react very cautiously. In the next or third game, they're back to how you'd expect them to behave according to their player profiles.
There's a frequent occurrence of certain players, resulting in their own team showing no real effort and moving very sluggishly.
Some modes are being adjusted, such as Squad Battles, but even for German gamers, the announcement was only in English.
The difficulty level has been adjusted. However, many are wondering if all countries and players are truly affected equally.
Realistically, the scores should have decreased.
So why not use the information being gathered
and adjust the difficulty so that weaker players can move up and gain the confidence to participate in events?
But no, the top players who already win the top prizes in the cups keep getting more and more. But without the weaker players, the top players would only receive a smaller portion of the packs if they were only playing against equally skilled opponents.
Why aren't there any parameters used for realistic matchmaking? Sometimes a team with an 85 rating plays against a team with a 90 rating or higher. Why does an 18-year-old pro play against a 12-year-old Ultimate Team beginner?
Looking at the whole picture, a lot of gamers are unnecessarily disadvantaged.
Many gamers who are practically elite are commenting in this thread. They're essentially demanding that things be made easier for them. However, with every step in that direction, it only becomes more difficult for the majority, and ultimately, even more gamers will withdraw from events and Ultimate Team.
Why try to lure players with packs like rare 85-89 gold players? And then, after working hard for that pack, you only get a very slow 85-rated center back???
Why don't all players get the same rewards? Especially since players have contributed equally to these bonus packs?
Does EA really want such unrealistic gameplay and unfair distribution?
