Actually it is the same issue. PC cross play creates an unfair playing field just like your suggestion does.

Maybe when they drop last gen support it might be more feasible, but right now, nope.

This has never been a problem in any game (even e-sports titles, [which this game will never be because of P2W]) other than this one. Even Battlefield 6 is having 120fps support.

Last gen (XB1, PS4) is an entirely segregated playerbase from current gen (PC, XB S|X, PS5), it has nothing to do with it.
