What is wild is not just the preternatural dribbler abilities, but if you are playing against a CPU controlled dribbler they can do what I call "teleporting" where they are gifted a surge of speed with no loss of ball control that sits outside the normal run or sprint functions available in the game. So many times I have had the right line on a tackle and the player teleports and I end up behind them.
I actually turned sprint speed and acceleration all the way down to see if it they would still teleport and they absolutely do. Players that can't do anything more than walk in the normal gameplay will still have these surges of speed. It's just another weird gimmick that EA put in the game because they don't know how to tune the game difficulty properly.

This happens on defense too unfortunatelly. Not all the time fortunatelly but often enough for me to pause gameplay and watch the AI teleport...I think it is caused by animations and a slight incosistany with their frames so it looks like a teleport.
It is frustrating when it happens but this is an issue for a while now.
