Rush is broken
Rush is literally broken cant join friends or random people or find opponents. The whole game mode doesn’t work!! Please can you fix it I can’t even do the tasks to unlock ultimate team otherwise!!!!!!!!!!

To anyone who sees this, I managed to resolve this outcome. I am on pc and supposedly the steam client didn't correctly download files causing me not to be able to play the mode. If you go into properties and 'validate file integrity' or words to that affect it should work :)
