i have the same problem with my Carreras totw its so annoying. Ive followed everything perfectly and even did the evo chain on futbin just to be extra sure. Now I have wasted 4 swaps on the icon defender glow up and didn't get the bruiser. I have 7 white play styles while the evo says that I should get 8.
