Player Career - Match objectives

As with the last few years, really disappointed to see that silly objectives still exist during games such as 'score X goals from outside the box'.

I suspect very few players are told by their manager they must score a goal in a game but why does the manager care where the goal comes from? It's not like it counts extra. 

Objectives like passing accuracy, shot conversion, successful dribbles at least make a bit of sense.
