Severe Input Lag / Button Delay in FC26 (PS5) — Especially in Career Mode

Issue Description:
I'm experiencing significant input delay while playing FC26 on PS5. All button presses and controller inputs are registering with a 5–10 second delay during gameplay. This makes matches essentially unplayable, since actions (passing, shooting, defending, etc.) occur far too late to be useful.
This issue is especially noticeable and severe in Career Mode, where the delay makes it very difficult to control matches properly.
When it started: July 11, 2026
Frequency: Every match, every different players
Game modes affected: Career Mode (primary issue)
Troubleshooting already attempted:
- Restarted the console
- Checked internet connection/wired vs wireless
- Tested a different controller
- Reinstalled/updated the game
- Checked for PS5 system software updates
