Account Ban Appeal | Case #252258759 | Wrongly Banned For Coin Transfer

EA ID: Erichey

My case reference number is #252258759.

My FC26 account got permanent ban, the reason is cross-account coin transfer.

I only have this single EA account, I never registered any alternate accounts. All players I listed on transfer market are spare duplicate cards from free login rewards, weekly free packs and in-game missions, I just cleared useless players in my club.

I never sent coins or players to other accounts, never received items from others, and I never sell or buy coins with real cash. This ban is caused by system false detection.

Please check my full transaction logs and lift this permanent ban.

Appeals are just ignored. I made a lot of coins from trading  but everything legit. For example I buy a player X at 110k and resell at 140k, at this point of the game people care less about their coins I guess so players sell fast.

I understand EA wants to fight against coin distribution, but they are flagging their own legit customer base instead, this is a very fast way to lose engagement.

  • The whole objective to this game is to I thought was to build your best ultimate team to do this you can purchase packs do squad building challenges trade on the transfer market do your weekly squad battles all I did was seeing people were selling players any at a minimum price and managed to get what coins I had bought and bid on these low priced players if minimum was 12000 and maximum was 30000 for example  I bid up to 20000 coins flipped them and sold them for 30000 dont know why this is wrong but this got me banned from playing the game and makes it pointless playing am hoping for someone to say to this company there is a problem and I hope it’s in there interest to do something can’t buy or play this game until someone does something hopeing for a resolution. Please don’t delete this just trying to highlight and help towards a resolution

I'm not saying you're guilty of anything. I do know from past bans, buying and selling players based off of leaks caused some to get banned. If they knew there was a player who would raise in price and bought when low to sell high, that would flag them. Just naming things that could've caused the flag/ban. I agree, it must feel frustrating having to deal with this and I do hope that it gets resolved soon!

  • Someone needs to look into this I tried  to post a question about my ea account being named different to my Xbox gamertag and would this be in a issue but most posts get rejected so you can’t get any real issues solved

I also got banned by EA today. They said I was transferring coins, but the problem is I’ve never bought or sold coins. I’ve always just bought low and sold high to earn coins. After buying games during the Steam Summer Sale, I played for over 500 hours online in a little more than a month and got banned outright. To be honest, I feel a strong urge to curse them out. I used to work at an online game company where I was specifically in charge of banning cheaters. The review process for detecting cheats was extremely strict, because every account represents a player’s time, energy, and money. EA’s reckless ban of accounts like this is truly shameful. The losses it causes players are immeasurable, especially when they’ve banned so many people.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of things that could get flagged. It isn't just buying/selling coins. Even having a friend buy items from you or the same account buying or selling items to you could get flagged, even if it was unintentional. The best you could do is try to include as much information about what you were doing before you got banned and hope it gets overturned by TOS. And, if it doesn't, to try to be more careful about how you're trading on FC.

    Hi Erichey,

Sorry to hear about the permanent ban.

Since the reason given was cross-account coin transfer, this is related to Ultimate Team Coin and Transfer Market activity. The rules don’t allow Coin distribution between accounts, including using the Transfer Market to move Coins rather than legitimately buying or selling Items at a fair market price.

You can review the relevant rules here:

How to use Ultimate Team Coins and EA SPORTS FC Points safely

Unfortunately, we can’t review your Transfer Market transaction logs or determine from the forums why your activity was flagged as cross-account coin transfer. We also can’t overturn the ban or escalate an individual appeal.

If you believe your Transfer Market activity was legitimate, please include those details in your appeal for the Terms of Service Team to review:

Check and appeal EA Account locks, bans, and suspensions

If the appeal option is still available, you can submit another appeal with any new or relevant information.

I’m sorry we can’t review the account action directly from the forums.

I have checked my ban history, and this is my first-ever ban on this EA account. All my transfer market transactions are legitimate duplicate free cards. Please official staff check my case #252258759 and transaction logs to lift the permanent ban.
