assessment of fc 26 gameplay features

overall, the features of fc 26 are extremely simplified than before.

agile dribbling is deleted, Short-term and long-term fatigue only affects AI-controlled players,

timed finishing is deleted.

all of these need skills and strategy, so users could have gotten rewards by his degree of skills and strategy.

but in fc 26, all of these are gone. some of users who like to play games with complex elements will leave

it will not affect your sales, because most of users like simple things.

rather, sales may increase. it is right in aspect of business.

there is nothing i can do, so it's sad.

  • The stamina change doesn’t make sense. It is going to help people with high end players. They will run around and not need subs or can just use the same player. Basically the 99 pace attacker will never tire and every player you pass to will have 99 stamina. So they will dribble and shoot as if they haven’t been running around all game.

I guess this is the move to more arcade gameplay though. Might as well just remove stamina and the need for subs. I suppose this would make it easier to just put more into the starting 11.

Every player controlled by either player will have 99 stamina. So really it's an equal playing field. It will affect how they are when you aren't controlling them, which means you will have to think more carefully about things like, making runs back, and where you leave a player on the pitch. In some cases it will be more beneficial to run a player back to their position, but that also leaves the opponent open for longer. I think it's a good change and it encourages manual use of players. Also, timed finishing isn't a skill, just stick the indicator on in trainer and it's easy.

  • It won’t be the same for both as this change favors the attacker. You won’t be able to target your best defender and use him. Add on to the fact that they are buffing everything on offense and nerfing everything on defense.

The easiest example is a say Messi rtg with all bronze players. You can just target Messi and use him all game and he will never tire. Besides being able to do that it makes older players like Messi have no weakness.

While that is an extreme example this obviously favors the offense not both sides.

Considering that's not what is happening I'm a bit confused, if you listen to the people crying then shooting is getting nerfed by taking away timed finishing.

It's all well and good saying that you can just target Messi and play with him, but you will get cooked by any player of decent skill. Your bronze players will be tired and there is no way your going to chase pass to pass with one player and get the ball.

This is to encourage you to actually change players, because while you are running around as your favourite the rest of your team are getting tired. It works both ways if the runs are improved on attack, especially if you don't use them. Your attackers will be tiring themselves out, while you dribble around with just one player. Of course this all relies on everything being balanced, but even with some kinks as long as they can fix it it's overall a positive.

People will have to actually defend again what a shock...

  • It’s more that the skill of timed finishing is being removed. It is being replaced by low driven and usually ea makes the new feature op and it will be easier.

The point is they never tire and when you have a full team of Messi. Sure the team won’t be doing ai runs. The point is when you pass each player is at full stats so everyone shooting or dribbling doesn’t matter if you just target one player all game.

I know exactly how the start of the year goes. It will be jam it to mbappe or whoever is 99 pace while trying to stop them with an average 60 pace cb.  Instead of that player finally getting tired this year it will last all game. All game will be hit mbappe speed boost step over speed boost but now full speed and shooting all game.

I'd love to know how many people will have Mbappe at the start of the year. I feel lucky when I've packed him 3 times this year. I'm sorry that there are fast players and slow ones but that's what it is. Also, if they have done what they have said then speed boost is nerfed, if they find a new one just nerf it straight away.

Also, if the buff to keepers is done correctly then low driven shots won't even feel OP. If you are going to winge so much do what I did with 25 and don't get involved until Christmas. I know I sound like I'm overly optimistic, but currently I'm going with what I have to work with. I've read the patch, I've seen the gameplay deep dive, and right now it sounds positive. Because I believe it is a overall positive change I will defend it until I'm proven wrong.

  • Even if they don’t have them on day one within a week they will. But let’s take seasons as an example. That will be the example day one.

But they are literally saying they have seriously nerfed any kind of speed boost. If you face someone that wants to constantly get it to Mbappe then shut them down. Honestly, I don't get why people want the game to figure everything out for them.
