Bad game mecanic

This message is from user Red. I’m writing to you because this game has honestly made me very emotional, and I feel the need to explain why.

The main issues are gameplay imbalance, player unresponsiveness, and unfair disconnection penalties.

I have played 15 matches in FUT Champions, and one of the most frustrating experiences is facing elite players where my defenders sometimes do not react at all. There are moments where I have to press the A button repeatedly just to get a player to interact. The through-ball mechanic often feels overpowered, with passes going straight through defenders as if the game is prioritizing certain meta actions rather than fair play.

In one recent match, I genuinely felt like I could not defend due to unbalanced gameplay. Even when positioned correctly and close to the opponent, my player would not respond properly despite repeated input. It creates the impression that skill is not always what determines the outcome.

Space management and building from the back also feel ineffective. Team pressing mechanics sometimes seem inconsistent, allowing opponents to waste time or take advantage of mechanics in an unsportsmanlike way.

I also experienced situations where the opponent disconnected from the match, yet I received the penalty. This feels extremely unfair and adds to the frustration, especially in a competitive mode like FUT Champions.

I don’t think the game is bad overall. The issue is that some mechanics feel broken or inconsistent. What I hope for is better balance and improved defensive tools — not just manual defending, but smarter ways to control space and positioning so that matches are decided by skill rather than exploitable mechanics.

The level of frustration this generates takes away from the joy of playing and negatively impacts my experience. I truly enjoy football games, and I want this one to feel fair and rewarding.

Please, I respectfully ask that you continue working on improving balance, responsiveness, and connection fairness so the community can enjoy a more competitive and fair experience.
