EA Support lied: faked my ticket status & refused to help!
Hey guys, I need to share this because I’m honestly in shock at how EA Support is treating us right now. I was trying to get help for the completely broken Clubs mode. I spend a lot of time grinding my Division 5 squad in Ultimate Team and streaming my Clubs matches on Twitch, so having a major game mode just completely stop working is incredibly frustrating. I opened a ticket (Case #239890975) hoping for a real answer. Instead of taking any responsibility, the agent straight up told me there is "No Fix Available". When I asked for some kind of in-game compensation for the broken product, they refused and literally told me in writing to go contact Microsoft Support to deal with it and get a refund. But here is the most disrespectful part: right after the agent said goodbye and closed the chat themselves, they sneakily changed my ticket status to "Player Unavailable"! They faked the status to make it look like I was the one who stopped responding, just to protect their own metrics and hide the fact that they refused to help. I’ve attached the screenshots of the chat (where they send me to Microsoft) and the fake ticket status. Has anyone else experienced this? How is it acceptable for a massive company to refuse responsibility, send players to Microsoft, and then lie about the ticket? Really hoping a Community Manager actually looks at these screenshots and explains this.17Views0likes0CommentsSupport Process Question: EA Help vs EA Forums
Dear EA Sports, I was advised by the EA Sports Support team (EA Help) to raise my concerns and issues with the game on the EA Forums, and I was assured that developers and relevant teams are active here. However, despite creating multiple posts outlining my concerns, none of them have been acknowledged by EA staff. I have worked in a corporate environment for over 25 years, and I must say that this level of communication falls well below the standard one would normally expect from a customer support structure. What I find particularly confusing is the process itself. EA Help, which is meant to support customers, redirects players to these forums to raise issues. Yet once customers follow that direction, it appears that no meaningful engagement takes place. From a customer perspective, this creates a situation where players are effectively moved from one support channel to another without their concerns actually being addressed. The only time I received a response was when a post included a three-letter word that apparently violated forum rules. That post received attention immediately, yet the actual concern raised in the post was not addressed in the response. This sends a rather unfortunate message that moderation is active, but meaningful engagement with the issues themselves is not. As a long-standing customer, this is disappointing. I have been playing EA football titles since the very first FIFA, well before the PlayStation era, and I have remained a loyal player for decades. Because of that, I find it difficult to understand why concerns raised by players here receive so little acknowledgement. I fully understand that companies must be careful when responding publicly. However, complete silence is also a response, and it is not a particularly reassuring one. If EA Help directs players to the forums, then the forums should function as a place where issues are at least acknowledged or discussed. Otherwise, the process risks appearing circular — players are redirected to the forums for help, but once they arrive, no help is provided. I would respectfully ask that this process be reconsidered, and that concerns raised here receive at least some level of acknowledgement from the relevant teams. I have earned badges and profile levels on this forum over time, but those are secondary. What matters far more is meaningful communication with the player community. Could EA staff please clarify whether posts raising gameplay concerns are reviewed and whether players can expect responses here? For clarity, could a member of the EA community team or moderation team please confirm whether gameplay concerns raised on this forum are reviewed by the development team, and whether players should realistically expect feedback or acknowledgement when such concerns are raised here? Understanding how this process works would be very helpful for players who have been directed here by EA Help. Thank you for your time and consideration.239Views5likes27CommentsClubs: Console Gameplay vs PC Players (Unfair Advantage)
This post is for all the Clubs players on these forums. For reference, I consider myself to be an elite level player and my squad was #15 ranked in the world in Elite div in Season 3 this year. As a console player, I find it utterly infuriating that EA has decided to pool PC players alongside console players in cross-play. FC 26 is a fundamentally different game on PC. The ability to play at 120 fps+ completely changes the game and creates a meaningful advantage for PC players playing against console players on Clubs. The game performs so much smoother. As the primary ANY of my club, I'm at the mercy of locked 60 fps gameplay on PS5. No matter how well I read the game, I'm simply not able to stop quality PC players from manoeuvring around my defenders. But it's not just my defence. If I'm playing against a PC ANY, his defenders are quicker, they press more aggressively, and his goalkeeper is considerably more agile. The ball seems to magentize to his players and no matter how much I try to slow the game down - it just plays so one-sidedly. I've played close to 1800 games in Clubs this year and I'm telling you that the game performs completely different vs a PC ANY than a console ANY. It's a totally different game and it's super frustrating. I don't understand how EA can justify pooling PC players with console players when the game performs considerably better on a PC vs a console? I have no problem losing to a quality team. But I have a real problem losing to a quality team that has a hardware/software advantage that I'm simply unable to compensate for. Fellow Clubs players, I'm curious to hear your thoughts and feedback. P. S. We're 5 years into the PS5 and Xbox Series X. How is there no 120 fps performance mode for these systems?41Views3likes2CommentsBarely anything works in any match I play.
Im not the best but I know for a fact half the things that go on in my game aren't normal. My passing never works properly and even worse after the new update. I think in the past 3 weeks all my players have done every game is pass directly to the opponent not like swerving off from my player to theirs and they run into it, I mean I could pass to somebody so visibly open and the trajectory is to the opponent without fail unless they're well off that's the only way I can really pass ive put a hud on that shows my inputs and when im looking back at a replay my aim was perfect and it just goes off into their players as I said. But its not even that its everything, if I use the right stick for skills they just kick the ball away, if I run they get it, if I take my time they get it, when I hold L2 they either just tackle straight through it or my player will just stand there totally oblivious even when moving around while holding it they eventually just let go of it. The most frustrating bit is the fact every single team I face even bronze and silver teams can all get straight past even when I run up before or I try to block their path off while slowly repeatedly pressing R1 they just spin around in circles and get past but then like I said when I make a clear run or I take my time but none work its like walking through straight walls that just follow your path until you hit it and even if I get past and get into the box there's about 5 people already there blocking every passing option and even when I do get a pass in luckily there's always 2 players behind that just take it. I've tried so many different things in different scenarios by using all the inputs differently to see if it works which leads to the same result, I've tweaked my settings about a million times and watched through about 30 videos about tactics, form and how to actually play and when I mimic or try to mimic it in my own way its the same outcome. Im not even claiming the game is rigged or that its hacking cause you just get called out for that but it honestly does seem like it so if there's actually a solution which doesn't mean I have to scroll through 1000 reddit posts for no reason id love that 👍.129Views3likes7CommentsIs Ultimate Team designed more as a monetization system than a football game?
I want to discuss the structure behind Ultimate Team rather than simply complain about gameplay. When you analyze the system logically, several layers appear that explain how the mode works. First, the economic structure. Ultimate Team is built around pack sales. Packs contain random rewards, and the best cards have extremely low probabilities. At the same time, the competitive environment pushes players to obtain stronger cards. Because of this, improving a team often becomes connected to opening packs or spending coins. Second, the power progression. Every few weeks the game releases new promos, special cards and upgrades. These cards are usually stronger than previous ones. Because of this power creep, cards that were strong a month ago quickly become outdated. Players therefore feel constant pressure to upgrade their squads. Third, the psychological design. The pack system uses random rewards, strong visual animations and limited-time events. This creates a reinforcement loop where players feel excitement when opening packs and urgency during promos. Time-limited content also creates fear of missing out. Fourth, the gameplay layer. Gameplay often rewards specific attributes such as pace or certain playstyles. Because of this, certain cards become part of the “meta”. These cards are usually the rarest or most expensive ones. When these layers are combined, Ultimate Team becomes more than just a football mode. It becomes a loop where players constantly chase better cards. So the real question is not simply whether the game is fair or unfair. The real question is whether the structure of the mode is designed primarily to encourage continuous engagement and spending. What do you think?82Views2likes5CommentsSliding Tackles Shine – But Bugs & UI Issues Hold FC 26 Back
Feedback based on 100+ hours of post-update gameplay. The latest gameplay update for FC 26 is a step in the right direction. Specifically, the reworked Slide Tackles feel much more rewarding and precise. However, to further enhance long-term engagement and the "Skill Gap," several mechanical inconsistencies and bugs require immediate attention. Part 1: Bug Report (Technical Issues) Settings Persistence Bug: Issue: User-defined settings (e.g., "Contextual Lofted Through Ball") and various assistance parameters randomly reset to default values without user input. Tactical Lock in "Seasons" Mode: Issue: Formation changes within the Seasons menu are often not applied. Users are forced to create a Friendly match, save a tactic code, and import it back into Seasons—a significant UX flaw. Matchmaking Filter Reset: Issue: The "Matchmaking Cup" or opponent filters (e.g., setting to "Manual") occasionally revert to "Any/Expand" automatically. Highlight Camera Tracking: Issue: During post-match replays, the camera frequently loses focus on the ball, making it impossible to analyze key plays. Missing Highlights in Post-Match Menu: Issue: Goals are often missing from the highlight reel list and only appear after refreshing or re-entering the menu. Input Conflict during Ball Recovery (X/A Button): Issue: The shoulder challenge (X/A) works well but often triggers an immediate, unintended flat pass upon winning possession. Solution: Implement a short input delay (a few milliseconds) after a successful challenge where the pass function of the button is ignored. Ineffective Standing Tackles & Misplaced Animations (Circle/B Button): Issue: Tackles often result in neither a ball win nor a foul, even with correct positioning. Furthermore, players frequently trigger a full, lunging tackle animation when no opponent is nearby, taking the defender out of the play unnecessarily. Goalkeeper Logic on High Through Balls: Issue: GKs often rush out illogically on lofted balls from the midfield into the box, making them extremely vulnerable to simple headed lobs. Unrealistic Ball Physics (Chest Traps & Flicks): Issue: Chesting down long balls is often overpowered. Additionally, manually flicking the ball up while sprinting is unrealistically effective compared to standard low-ball dribbling. Part 2: Gameplay & Mechanics Improvement Proposals Consistent Assistance Scaling (The Skill Gap): Status: It is positive that skilled players using Semi-Assisted settings have a deserved advantage over Full-Assisted users. The Gap: This logic fails for Full Manual players. Despite the higher difficulty, they are currently at a massive disadvantage compared to all other settings. Proposal: * Slightly nerf the extreme accuracy/speed of first-time passes on High/Semi-Assisted settings. Reduce shooting accuracy under pressure for assisted users. Implement a larger and visually clearer "Movement Indicator" for Manual players to aid precision. Stamina Penalties for Skill Moves and Sharp Turns: Proposal: Chaining skill moves or executing high-speed, sharp direction changes must drain short-term stamina significantly. This should directly reduce the accuracy and power of subsequent shots or passes. Online Pause Menu Flexibility: Proposal: Allow players to cancel their "Resume" selection if the opponent is still in the pause menu, enabling further tactical adjustments. Defensive Jockey-Fix: Issue: Defenders in Jockey mode often continue running in the wrong direction for too long when reacting to a feint. The recovery time and inertia after being "sent" by a fake need to be balanced. Dynamic R1/RB Teammate Press: Proposal: Holding R1 should trigger an aggressive press. However, prolonged holding should drastically increase the risk of a foul or being easily bypassed via dribbling. Releasing the button before contact should transition the teammate into a defensive "jockeying" state. Manual Pathing (Breaking the Rails): Proposal: Introduce a dedicated button to override the "on-rails" logic during long passes, allowing players to choose their own paths to intercept balls or position themselves defensively. Realistic Header & Goalkeeper Balance: Proposal: Nerf GK reflexes on close-range headers. Simultaneously, reduce the frequency of overpowered headers. Powerful headers should only be possible under optimal conditions, such as: - High-velocity crosses. - Headers without defensive pressure. - Fully charged power bars. - Using the sprint modifier or actively moving toward the ball immediately before the header. Single-Button Shot Cancel: Proposal: Reduce the "Hard Cancel" input from a combination to a single dedicated button for more intuitive reactions. Part 3: Strategic Mode Expansion "Seasons Pro / Manager Seasons" A realistic alternative to Ultimate Team for mature audiences: Transfer Market & Growth: Daily rotating transfer offers and dynamic attribute changes (growth/decline) based on age. Management: Contract and salary structures. Monetization: EA can monetize this via real-money options for club budgets/infrastructure, ensuring profitability without losing the simulation feel. Closing: "Thank you for taking the time to read through this detailed analysis. I truly believe that FC 26 has the potential to be the definitive football simulation if we prioritize mechanical depth (skill gap) and technical stability in the upcoming title updates. I would highly appreciate any feedback or acknowledgment from the Community Managers or the Dev team regarding these points. To the community: What are your thoughts on the proposed 'Manager Seasons' mode and the dedicated manual pathing button? Let’s work together to make this game the best it can be for every type of player. Best regards Jürgen Christ25Views1like0CommentsBRASILEIRÃO NO FC26

Please fix the gameplay in co-op. In recent years, it wasn’t perfect but was manageable to some extent. This year, though, in most games I feel completely overpowered or powerless, as if the balance is way off—players don’t turn, and mechanics don’t work properly. When winning or losing is due to gameplay issues, it takes all the fun out of the game.9Views0likes0CommentsUp 4-0 and all of a sudden 4 goals scored by the opponent to win!
It can't be anything except scripted when going up by 4 goals only ensures the other team will score 4 goals in response. How can this happen every single game? How can I go up by 3 or 4 goals to zero. Only to have the team that could not do anything all of a sudden run my team in the last 20 minutes to score 5 goals in response. My passing goes to less than 50% and my defenders start creating a diagonal line allowing the striker to not be off sides every time they throw a through pass and they win the game. How does this happen in 4 games in a row? Then I win a game where the same exact thing happens in my favor. I get murdered in the first half down 4 goals. Now all of a sudden i can easily get by their defense and I go on to score 5 goals to win the game. Then the same thing happens again in their favor for a couple games. How is this not scripted? This can not happen in this great of a number and not be scripted. Sorry staff I can't not say this anymore. The game is scripting defenses to sabotage their own teams when you are winning by too much.278Views4likes17CommentsHelp recovering my account
Hi guys, Recently my account got hacked into and used as a middle man to illegally transfer coins to other accounts - 3.7 million coins to be exact, which lead to my account being put on hold first, then banned. I reported the issue to EA via contact and by speaking to someone, which was about a week ago. Since then, I have had no contact, I get told to not talk via EA chat as it would apparently delay me even further, and to be honest I just wanted to speak to anyone that has been in this kind of situation before because frankly I’m scared I lose that account which I’ve spent plenty of money on. Just wondering if I’m overthinking or if it is genuine incompetence from the team that reviews this as the situation is as simple as it looks. Thanks for readingSolved38Views0likes1Comment
