CROSS PLAY PLATFORM PROGRESS

am honestly not happy that i cant use my playstation data and progress on fc 26 for my laptop using ea play. it makes me have to start a whole new ultimate team and clubs character and truly its annoying to have to start new data when i already have a linked platform for ea that id like to use to play fc 26 on. whats the point of linking account if i cant choose to use the same data in certain games rather than having to restart.
