Does the manual controls filter work in Online Seasons?

Hi there, i did not play the game since EA FC 24 and then there was a problem with controls filter in Online seasons. If you choose full manual, you got paired with assisted players. And when paired with manual opponent, the controls could be changed in game in the pause menu.

Is this issue still in EA FC 26 or is it (finally) fixed and it works as it should? PS5. Thanks.
