EA FC 26 dropping from 144 FPS to 12 FPS randomly – need help

I'm having a serious performance issue with EA SPORTS FC 26. I have a good PC with more than enough specs to run the game smoothly, and under normal conditions I play at around 144 FPS. However, in many matches the game suddenly drops to around 12 FPS, making it basically unplayable.

Here’s what I’ve already tried: Repaired the game files; Restarted the PC; Reinstalled the game; Updated GPU drivers; Checked Windows updates; Tried different graphics settings

None of these fixed the issue. Every other game on my PC runs perfectly without any FPS drops, so the problem seems to be specific to FC 26. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am having the exact same issue. My PC specs should be more than enough to run FC26 but I keep getting low FPS mid matches in Career Mode. Like you said its unplayable and I also tried every possible way to fix it but the game still doesn't work properly.
