EA FC 26 won't launch - EA Javelin Anticheat loop after v1.4.3 patch [PC]
Hello EA Support,
I purchased EA SPORTS FC 26 through Epic Games and have been unable to launch the game for 2 days. The game shows the splash screen with 'Starting EA Javelin Anticheat...' and then closes back to the EA App with no error message.
Here is everything I have tried:
INSTALLATION & FILES
- Reinstalled the game multiple times (tried on C: drive and SSD)
- Deleted EA SPORTS FC 26 folder in AppData > Local
- Verified game files through EA App
- Ran EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe as administrator
- Uninstalled and reinstalled EA Javelin Anticheat from C:\Program Files\EA\AC
- Reinstalled EA App completely
WINDOWS & SYSTEM
- Updated GPU drivers
- Reinstalled DirectX 12, Visual C++ Redistributable (x64 and x86), .NET Framework
- Ran 'winget upgrade --all' via CMD as administrator
- Cleaned PREFETCH, TEMP and %TEMP% folders
- Restored Windows Firewall to default settings
- Ran all optional Windows Updates
- Disabled Game Mode
- Confirmed Secure Boot is ENABLED
- Confirmed Windows version is up to date
ANTICHEAT & PERMISSIONS
- Added exclusions in Windows Defender for: C:\Arquivos de Programas\EA Games\EA SPORTS FC 26, C:\Program Files\EA and C:\Program Files\EA\AC
- Set FC26.exe, EA App and EAAntiCheat executables to always Run as Administrator
- Closed all background apps including Discord, overlays and monitoring tools
- Disabled NVIDIA overlay and Xbox Game Bar
ADDITIONAL
- Confirmed no VPN is active
- Confirmed no third-party anticheat software (Vanguard, FaceIT, etc.) is running
- Uninstalled FIFA Mod Launcher previously used with FC 25
- Checked EA server status - servers are online
- OS: Windows 11 Pro (Build 26200)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
- RAM: 64 GB

- BIOS: American Megatrends 1.80
The issue started when I first installed the game and coincides with the v1.4.3 patch released on February 13th. I have seen many other players reporting the exact same loop on the EA Forums and Reddit.
I have until Saturday to request a refund. I would like to resolve this before taking that step, but I need an actual solution, not generic troubleshooting steps I have already completed.
Please escalate this ticket.
