FC26-27: Make Career Mode Legendary with AI, Transfers & Leagues!

Dear EA Sports FC Team and Community,

I have some ideas that, if implemented in FC26 or FC27, could make it the best game in the series’ history.

1️⃣ Advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Not just player behavior on the pitch, but AI managers, tactics, and transfer decisions. Smarter AI would make every match unique and challenging, making Career Mode feel more realistic and strategic.

2️⃣ Press Conferences and Player Relationships

Dynamic press conferences that truly impact player morale, team chemistry, and the club atmosphere. Adding friendships, rivalries, and personality dynamics between players would make Career Mode feel like a real football story.

3️⃣ Fully Realistic Transfers

Complex negotiation systems, player preferences, and club strategies would make transfers feel authentic. Including salaries, bonuses, and player ambitions would give a professional managerial experience.

4️⃣ New Leagues, Competitions, and Clubs

Adding leagues like the Saudi Yelo League, more domestic and international cups, and additional licensed clubs would expand the variety and immersion in Career Mode.

5️⃣ Gameplay Improvements

Passing, shooting, tackling, goalkeepers, and other core mechanics should be smooth, consistent, and realistic, with no glitches. Perfecting gameplay would make every match exciting and enjoyable.

If EA combines all these improvements, FC26-27 could truly set a new standard in football gaming history, making Career Mode a complete and immersive football management experience.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards,

Bro those are actually good ideas I got Asia to summarise some of my ideas

    1. Rebuild Player Career Mode

The current Player Career mode should become a full football journey.

The Grounds should become the central hub of your career.

    Players should be able to:

    • Train individually
    • Meet teammates
    • Speak with coaches
    • Complete skill challenges
    • Play small-sided football
    • Attend media events
    • Meet sponsors
    • Receive transfer offers
    • Build friendships and rivalries
    • Experience story events

Instead of feeling like a menu simulator, players should feel like they are actually living a football career.

    1. Legacy Journey Mode

    Give players two options.

    Classic Experience:

    Play as Alex Hunter.

    Custom Legacy:

    Create your own footballer.

    Choose:

    • Name
    • Nationality
    • Position
    • Height
    • Weight
    • Appearance
    • Dominant foot
    • Play style

The story adapts to your player while keeping the cinematic feeling of The Journey.

    1. Completely Rebuild Manager Career

Manager Career should feel like managing a real football club.

    Every decision should matter.

    Managers should control:

    • Transfers
    • Youth development
    • Club finances
    • Stadium growth
    • Staff
    • Training
    • Club philosophy
    • Long-term planning

    1. Real Youth Football System

Replace the current academy system with a proper youth structure.

    Include:

    • Under 15 teams
    • Under 17 teams
    • Under 19 teams
    • Reserve teams

Young players should develop by actually playing football.

A 15-year-old wonderkid should not just sit in an academy menu for two years.

They should play matches, improve, gain experience and develop naturally.

    1. Youth Competitions

    Add playable youth competitions.

    Examples:

    • UEFA Youth League
    • Domestic Under 17 leagues
    • Domestic Under 19 leagues
    • Youth cups
    • Reserve leagues

Youth football should become a major part of Career Mode.

    1. Global Youth Scouting

Scouting should become much more realistic.

Instead of random reports, scouts should discover players through actual performances.

    Examples:

“Swiss Under 17 Golden Boot winner.”

“South African winger dominating youth football.”

“Brazilian striker scoring heavily for Santos academy.”

“Japanese midfielder impressing at the AFC Under 17 Asian Cup.”

Players should have stories, not just ratings.

    1. Competitive Youth Transfer Market

The best young players should attract interest from the biggest clubs.

A 15-year-old wonderkid should have clubs like:

    • Manchester United
    • Liverpool
    • Chelsea
    • Arsenal
    • Manchester City
    • Barcelona
    • Real Madrid
    • Bayern Munich
    • Ajax
    • Benfica

    competing for them.

    Managers should convince players with:

    • Better development opportunities
    • First-team chances
    • Better facilities
    • Club reputation
    • Coaching quality

Signing a wonderkid should feel like winning a transfer battle.

    1. Better Academy Development

Clubs should be able to invest in:

    • Youth coaches
    • Scouts
    • Training facilities
    • Medical departments
    • Sports science
    • Academy buildings
    • International scouting networks

A club with a world-class academy should produce better players.

    1. Proper Player Development

Young players should follow a realistic pathway.

    Under 15

    Under 17

    Under 19

    Reserve Team

    First Team

Exceptional talents should be able to train with the senior squad earlier.

A 15-year-old with incredible ability should have the possibility of becoming a special case.

    1. Youth International Football

    Add youth international competitions.

Examples: Probably worlds game not FIFA

    Under 17 World Cup

     Under 20 World Cup

    UEFA Under 17 Championship

    UEFA Under 19 Championship

    AFC Under 17 Asian Cup

    AFC Under 20 Asian Cup

CAF Under 17 Africa Cup of Nations

CAF Under 20 Africa Cup of Nations

    CONMEBOL Under 17 Championship

    CONMEBOL Under 20 Championship

    CONCACAF Under 17 Championship

    CONCACAF Under 20 Championship

    OFC youth competitions

These tournaments would become places where scouts discover future stars.

    1. Expand Football’s League Database

Career Mode needs a much larger football world.

    Possible additions:

    Europe:

    • Greek Super League
    • Italian Serie C
    • Spanish Primera Federacion
    • French National
    • Swiss Challenge League
    • English National League
    • National League North
    • National League South

    Africa:

    • South African Premiership
    • Egyptian Premier League
    • Nigerian Premier League
    • Moroccan League
    • Algerian League
    • Tunisian League

    North America:

    • Liga MX
    • USL Championship
    • USL League One

    South America:

    • Brazilian Serie A
    • Brazilian Serie B
    • More Argentine divisions

    Asia:

    • Israeli Premier League
    • More Asian leagues

More leagues would create more realistic career paths.

    1. More National Teams

EA should include as many national teams as possible.

International football is a huge part of the sport and should not feel limited.

If licensing is not possible, generic teams could still be included.

Players should be able to build stories like:

    • Taking South Africa to the World Cup
    • Leading New Zealand to an upset
    • Winning AFCON with a smaller nation
    • Developing a country into a world power

    1. Smarter Club AI

Clubs should recruit based on identity.

    Examples:

    Ajax:
    Develops young technical players.

    Benfica:
    Finds South American talent.

    Brighton:
    Signs undervalued players.

    Chelsea:
    Targets elite young players.

    Real Madrid:
    Signs future superstars.

    Every club should feel different.

    1. Living Football World

The football world should change every season.

    Include:

    • Manager changes
    • Club takeovers
    • Financial problems
    • Rivalries
    • Press stories
    • Youth breakthroughs
    • Retired legends returning
    • Dynamic transfer rumours

    Every save should feel unique.

    1. Dynamic Football Stories

Career Mode should create memorable moments.

    Examples:

“Swiss Under 17 Golden Boot winner signs for Ajax.”

“South African wonderkid rejects Manchester United to join Benfica.”

“15-year-old academy player scores his first senior goal.”

    “Former academy player becomes captain.”

    These stories should happen naturally.

    1. Interactive Conversations and Club Management

Managers should be able to communicate with players, staff and the board whenever they want.

    Player conversations:

    Discuss:

    • Playing time
    • Contracts
    • Transfers
    • Loan moves
    • Development plans
    • Position changes
    • Captaincy
    • Future plans
    • Praise and criticism

    Examples:

“You are a key part of my plans.”

“I think a loan move will help your development.”

“You are no longer in my long-term plans.”

These conversations should affect morale, loyalty and relationships.

    Board meetings:

Managers should be able to request:

    • Stadium expansions
    • New stadiums
    • Larger transfer budgets
    • Better training facilities
    • Bigger scouting networks
    • Improved youth facilities
    • More staff

    Example:

“Our stadium sells out every week. I want to expand capacity to increase ticket revenue.”

The board should decide based on finances and club success.

    Staff meetings:

    Speak with:

    • Assistant manager
    • Sporting director
    • Academy director
    • Scouts
    • Medical team
    • Coaches

    Staff should give meaningful advice.

    1. Football Legacy System

Players should not disappear after retirement.

They should be able to become:

    • Managers
    • Assistant managers
    • Coaches
    • Academy coaches
    • Scouts
    • Sporting directors

A player’s career should continue after they stop playing.

    1. Leadership and Coaching Attributes

    Players should have leadership attributes.

    Examples:

    • Leadership
    • Communication
    • Professionalism
    • Tactical intelligence
    • Motivation
    • Decision making
    • Discipline
    • Mentoring

Captains, team leaders and experienced players should naturally develop these traits.

A player who was a legendary captain should have a head start when becoming a coach.

A player with poor leadership should have a harder path into management.

    1. Dynamic Coaching Careers

    The football world should evolve.

    Examples:

    • Retired players become coaches.
    • Assistant managers become managers.
    • Academy coaches move between clubs.
    • Former legends return to their clubs.

Imagine signing a 15-year-old wonderkid, watching him become captain, then years later seeing him return as your assistant manager.

    Final Vision

EA SPORTS FC should become more than a football game.

It should become a living football universe.

Imagine discovering a 15-year-old Swiss striker after he wins the Under 17 European Championship Golden Boot.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United all want him.

You convince him to join your club because of your academy, facilities and pathway to the first team.

He develops through youth football, makes his debut, becomes captain, wins trophies, retires and eventually returns as your coach.

At the same time, your stadium grows, your academy produces future stars and your scouting network discovers talent around the world.

That is the future Career Mode deserves.

    Not just updated squads.

    Not just better graphics.

A true football world where every player, club, league and nation has a story.
