It is wrong to restrict content
I’m talking about players that are ONLY achievable by winning a from a restricted number of games. Like the Kudos and the one that was on offer in early access. Everyone has PAID for the game and therefore should (and I think by some kind of consumer regulation), be entitled to use any and ALL of the content within the product that they have purchased. I’m not for one minute suggesting that all content should just be handed out without it being challenging to achieve. However, for in game players to simply only achievable if a player can win a tournament and then for the content to forever be unattainable is quite simply wrong. In other games if you fail a challenge to gain a reward then you start the game again, again and again and for some it might take an incredible amount of time and improvement to achieve, but fundamentally the reward CAN be achieved. For rewards (player cards) to simply become unattainable if a person fails to achieve a limited restriction criteria and there be no chance of ever using the content that HAS been PAID for is ludicrous. I’m pretty sure that EA’s stance on content is that ‘ALL content can be available through playing the game’. By removing the content then again this goes against their own stance. Yes, make things difficult to get, but you simply cannot just take the ability to actually achieve it away.
