Player Career Mode Feedback: Agent System & Extended Career Length
Dear EA SPORTS FC Career Mode Team,
First of all, thank you for continuing to improve Career Mode. As a long-time Player Career fan, I truly appreciate the effort your team has made to bring more realism and immersion into the game. I would like to share two suggestions that I believe could make Player Career Mode even more enjoyable and memorable.
1. Please introduce a true Agent System
This is the feature I hope to see the most.
At the moment, transferring to another club still feels too mechanical. Players usually choose a destination and complete objectives before moving. While this works, it doesn't reflect how football careers develop in real life.
A true Agent System would completely change the experience. Imagine receiving messages such as:
"A Championship club is interested in signing you."
"A Premier League club has been scouting you for several months."
"A top European club wants to wait one more season before making an offer."
"Your current club would like to renew your contract."
Allowing clubs to approach the player naturally, negotiate wages, discuss squad roles, and compete for signatures would make every career feel unique and realistic.
This is one of the most requested features from the Career Mode community, and I sincerely hope it can become part of a future EA SPORTS FC title.
2. Please extend the Career Mode age and season limits
This is equally important.
Football is about dreams, perseverance, and writing your own story.
Many players want to create a complete career that lasts into their late 30s or even early 40s, just like many real-life professionals.
For example, imagine a legendary attacking midfielder (CAM) from Malaysia.
After winning league titles, the UEFA Champions League, and individual awards throughout Europe, he reaches the age of 43. Everyone expects him to retire.
But instead, he decides to continue for one final season because he has one last dream:
To represent Malaysia at one final FIFA World Cup before retiring.
That kind of emotional story is currently impossible because Career Mode ends long before players reach that stage.
Recent international football has shown us that age does not always define a player's ability to contribute. Players like Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha have inspired many fans by continuing to represent their country with passion and pride.
Extending the career length to around 20–25 seasons, or allowing players to decide when to retire, would create unforgettable stories and make Player Career Mode feel much closer to real football.
