Players who relegate themselfe to get easy wins

I play seasons and too often have to play against people with skils way over mine. This is players who clearly relegate themselfe to lower divisions only to smash their opponents.

Shouldn't EA have a system to prevent this? If you allready think you have so, it's not working.

It also seems like when you quit these matches after a few minutes (wich is natural to do when the skills gap are so huge) EA punish you by keeping on putting you into these sort of matches.

I play seasons as well. Check the ranking of your opponents, they are rarely in the same Division as where you are in. That's why there is such a difference in skill level.

Not sure if this was the case in the past. I assume they had to open the matchmaking up across all divisions to actually still find an opponent. 10 years ago, there were an average 10.000 online players in Seasons, now on a good day I get to 1.000. Everyone plays either UT or quitted because the game is that bad

  • TBH sometimes I wish there was a way to reset it. I managed to get to division 3, am I a division 3 skilled player? Nope, I think I'm more division 5 or 6. I think I got there based on being pitted against easier opponents, some in divisions below. Then playing in division 3 I'm pitted against division 1 players and I look at their record after the match and it's nearly all wins, whereas my record is 193 losses, 99 wins and 25 draws. Each day is different as well. I mean I can go on a winning streak where it just feels like it's too easy, then the next I'm getting absolutely slaughtered in every game. I don't use the redeem a win feature unless my opponent quits the game and I don't get a win for it. I would rather win or lose by 1 goal than win or lose by 5. I think the way opponents should be picked should be based on your history

Same here. I'm usually around Div 3-4. There are days where everything works and I get to Div 1. There are days where the game doesn't let you play, when everything is sluggish and nothing works. I don't see the point in continuing a game and then I quit. I play for fun, not to get as high as possible. There's no fun in a game where not even the easiest pass seems to be a whole challenge

Yeah, same, I just play for fun as well. Sometimes I don't even pay attention to what division I'm in

  • It really shouldn't be possible to restart your seasons game to start in 10th division again.

This is a huge weakness of the game and EA as a company.
