Pro Clubs Needs a Real Overhaul — Here’s How EA Can Fix It
Dear EA Sports FC Team,
I’m writing as a long-time player and passionate supporter of Pro Clubs. While I appreciate the work that goes into developing each new title, I want to be honest: Pro Clubs deserves more attention, innovation, and pride than it’s currently receiving.
The recent updates—like joining multiple teams and reshuffling skill trees—feel more like surface-level tweaks than meaningful progress. The gameplay still lacks consistency across modes, and server performance continues to be a major issue. Meanwhile, other EA titles like Battlefield run smoothly, which makes the lag and sluggishness in FC even more frustrating.
I believe Pro Clubs has the potential to be one of the most engaging and community-driven modes in the entire game. Here are three ideas I think could truly transform it:
- Customizable AI Teammates Let us adjust the height, weight, and traits of our AI players. This would allow clubs to build tactical identities and make AI feel like part of the team—not just filler.
- AI Upgrade Tree or Market System Introduce a progression system for AI similar to our Pros. Whether through XP, scouting, or training, we should be able to fine-tune our AI squad to match our playstyle.
- Ultimate Clubs Concept Replace AI entirely with real players. As clubs level up, unlock access to professional players—starting with lower-league talent and progressing to top-tier stars like Ronaldo or Mbappé. This would add depth, progression, and prestige to the mode.
These changes wouldn’t just improve gameplay—they’d give players a reason to invest in their clubs long-term. Pro Clubs could become a flagship mode if given the attention it deserves.
I’m not just asking for change—I’m offering ideas. I hope this message reaches the right people and sparks a real conversation about the future of Pro Clubs.
Thank you for your time and for listening to the community.
Sincerely, Irish.
