Problems LAtency ping

Hi,
I’m playing from Spain (Movistar fiber 1 Gbps, wired, NAT Type 2) and since a few days ago I’m getting a constant ~100 ms ping when playing EA Sports FC 26.
I ran several tests to rule out any local issue:

  • Local and national ping: 4 ms, 0 % packet loss.
  • Ping to EA server (nfs.gos.ea.com / 159.153.71.17):
  • Minimum = 99 ms, Maximum = 101 ms, Average = 99 ms (0 % loss)
  • Traceroute shows latency jump (up to 145 ms) when leaving Spain via lumen.tech → ea.com.
  • IP geolocation confirms the host is in the United States (Virginia / California):
    • IP2Location → California – Redwood City
    • IPinfo.io → Virginia – Leesburg

My local network is perfectly stable (no jitter, no loss, other online games working fine).
It looks like I’m being routed to a US-based EA server instead of an EU one, which explains the constant delay.

Please check routing or matchmaking server assignment for Spain / Western Europe.
Evidence (pings and traceroutes) attached.

Thanks for your attention.
(Setup: Movistar fiber, wired connection, OPNsense + UniFi infrastructure).
