This is beyond ridicoulous

Why would anyone pay that much for a game like this?

For promises?

EA FC 27 may look better on paper, but it's not suddenly being made by a different company.

This is the same company that couldn't fix simple bugs for an entire year. Before almost every match, I find myself wondering what color the ball is going to be. Maybe it'll be black again, making it hard to see for the whole game. Or maybe it'll be the random pitch line colors or the goal net colors. It's ridiculous that such basic issues are still there.

This year, it constantly felt like you needed the newest promo cards to stay competitive. In reality, though, it often feels like older cards simply get weaker over time. I now have plenty of players with 99 Finishing, yet they shoot the ball like Gold cards did a few months ago.

You could argue that's intentional—older cards become less effective so you're forced to keep upgrading just to maintain the same level of performance.

Think about how absurd that sounds: you upgrade... just to stay the same. 😂

And even that doesn't always matter.

You spend countless hours building your team. People complain that a card is missing a certain PlayStyle, so you finally build a squad where almost every player has four or five PlayStyle+ traits. In my case, around 80% of my team has five PlayStyle+, while the rest have four. The squad is almost entirely Lengthy, with attributes close to or at 99 across the board.

Then you come up against entire teams made up of free objective cards with no PlayStyles at all... and there's barely any noticeable difference. And no, it's not because my opponent is simply a better player.

That's what's so frustrating.

The game has become a constant search for whatever the latest meta is instead of rewarding tactics or actual football. If it's not the formation, it's the player ratings. If it's not the ratings, it's a missing PlayStyle. If it's not that, then apparently your team isn't Lengthy enough.

I've done all of those things.

And yet, in some matches, my team still feels like a basic Gold squad.

There is absolutely no consistency.

One match, every pass is perfect. The next, nothing works. One game your defenders react normally; the next they're tripping over each other and making unbelievable mistakes.

It's an awful experience.

And EA expects people to pay an even higher price for the next edition?

I genuinely feel sorry for the parents whose kids convince them to buy this mess.

So, one last question: why are you buying the next edition? What has EA actually done over the past few years to earn your trust again? Until players stop rewarding the same practices every year, I don't think anything meaningful will change
